Most of my work currently is with males and most often working in or towards performance and acting.
Many actors model as well, and it can for those embarking on an acting career be a good backup.
Many children are put forward for commercial modelling by their parents and some do really well.
It is important however to know what the commercial industry expect's from models and the different types of modelling available.
Don't be fooled that you have to be pin up material to model, that's one small sector - but be sure you have to be confident committed and reliable.
If your not sure - don't worry - a visit to the station can give you a chance to talk it through - give it a try and see if it's for you.
It's also not unknown for a model to find a latent talent in performance which with a little encouragement can lead to acting.

As a career the range is demanded by the roles you apply for or the acting course you apply or take. As a hobby range really is up to you!! The differences are explained and building up confidencce and range is a major feature when taking part. |
